Round One: Help Theme Nova pick a Thumbnail for the Nova One Ultimate All-in-One WordPress Theme

Option 2 – although not big will be easily recognized over time due to 3 color mix.

I like #2 & #3 the most and #4 & #5 the least. In them, Nova looks like “No Va” which means “no go” in Spanish.

I like 1 the best, but 3 will probably be the one most will pick.

I am one of the few who chose option 5 lol because I like the originality of it. Lots of stuff have been “labelled as” all in one already.  What’s makes your “all in one” different to the others “all in ones”… is the “nova”… therefore I would go for the most original “nova” like #4 or #5… cheers Josh

Sorry, but didn’t really like any of them. I just don’t like the tiny font without anti-aliasing, it’s too small to have any impact and unreadable when multicoloured. Use No.1 but instead of the text at the bottom, use the same font as the large text and just write WordPress. It needs to be associated with WordPress in some way, at the moment that’s not clear without reading the tiny text!

Option 3, best highlights the product name Nova one.

i chose 2, 4 and 5… 2 looks balanced to me. 4 grabs the attention and then reveals more at the bottom. 5 is about balance again and flair. 1 looks crowded to me. 3 would be great if there was no banner at the top. the top bit competes too much with the main pull of the center text. gee, i had a lot to say!

Option 3 was my pick

I liked #3 best  – partly because it was the only one to show the Nova One name and also it seemed balanced without being busy

Number 1  with the just word wordpress in a top bar and T H  E M E (streched) in the bottom bar and don’t repet all “in one” in either of the bars

or perhaps TOP BAR     T  H  E  M  E

No. 1 without hesitation. It conforms nicely to the way the eye tracks across the page, it is clean, and, it is easy to scan on a single glance.

I liked #2 because it shows, creatively, exactly WHAT it is.  The name is secondary to me in this case.

Option 2 is more balanced.

#1 pulls most attention and combines quite some info with the name of the theme. I’d check it out if I saw that thumb. Good luck!

I voted for the first, but I would prefer to have the “all in one theme” at the bottom omitted (“for wordpress” should remain though). If you delete it the density decreases and the text is much more readable, plus the message is almost unaltered, even though the keyword “theme” is not there anymore (inference)

I like option 2.  It is cleaner than option one and is easier to read than the other options.

The marketing dept here is in agreement that we like three the best, clean and simple.

#1 – eye scans it smoothly, doesn’t have to go back and figure anything out. Easy, clear, slick!

I preferred the look of 3 and 4 for a few reason: I liked the colors better and the logo placement looked better to me.

I like the first one the best.  It gets both your branding and your key message across powerfully. Which ultimately is important in Branding and Marketing.

I prefer 1, but 3 and 5 are good as well.  1 Seems the most straightforward in my opinion.. 3 and 5 are good for their balance, but I still prefer 1 as the most natural looking one, in my eyes.

I was debating between 1 and 3. Both are very nice. Finally read the post again: the name of the theme is Nova One, right? In #1 the “one” delivers different meaning. So, my vote went for #3

#2 was my first choice – drew my eye in first – likely the shadow under “one” although I noticed that it doesn’t even say nova.  #1 was my second choice.  Don’t like 4 and 5 at all.

The first one for me , looks great and well readable. Looks perfect for branding purpose to me. I also like the no 4.

In order: 5, 3, 4. I don’t think words should be repeated in something that small and I like it framed in for focus.

I only liked #3, because, as was said, it’s clean and simple.  #2 looks good; but doesn’t says “Nova.”  #1 is ways to crowded looking and redundant for me; but I choose 1,2,3.  4 and 5 are too cliché for my taste.
